But, the room was sweltering initially. it took a couple of hours to cool down because the a/c was off when I checked in. It was a fitting option for a short stint in Darien with a good value considering the price. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, which helped me get some much-needed rest after a long drive. Look for a room further from the highway for a quieter experience.

However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. I stumbled upon dead bugs on the sink, and there were live cockroaches that decided to join me for the night. The shower setup was frustrating with awkward water flow and a clogged drain, not to mention the room temperature being stuck at a sweltering 81°. Those black stains on the towels added a layer of discomfort that I didn't need during my stay.
